School-Based Action Plan of the Punjab Examination Commission 2022-School-based action plan 2022 has been released by the Punjab Examination Commission. According to the Punjab Education Commission, SBA will be conducted in all Punjabi schools from Class I to VIII. In 2022, school-based assessments will cover the whole curriculum for grades 1 through 8. The SBA item bank for grades 1 through 5 will be based on the SNC (single national curriculum) for the year 2021. The national curriculum 2008 will be used in the PEC SBA 2022 item bank for grades 6-8.
SBA was held last year from the 18th of May to the 31st of May. Following the COVID-19 Sops, a school-based action plan should be created. Report cards were distributed before June 10th, 2021.
Proportion: SBA 2021:
Homework receives 50% of the weighting, while MCQs from the alp smart syllabus 2021 receive 50% of the weighting. The disciplines English, Mathematics, Urdu, and general knowledge will be assessed orally in grades I and II.
PEC will give an item bank for all key courses in Grades III and VIII. There will be a total of 25 MCQs on the MCQ paper. Each MCQ is worth two points if answered correctly.
It is the responsibility of the Head Teacher/Principal to distribute date sheets. For coordination, the Punjab Examination Commission would build a control centre at the provincial level.
